Emmaus Parish Officially Established Following Decree of Amalgamation
A new chapter in the life of our Catholic community begins with the establishment of Emmaus Parish, Brunswick Moreland, following the approval of the Decree of Amalgamation by Archbishop Peter A. Comensoli. Bringing together the communities of St Ambrose & Our Lady Help of Christians, St Joseph’s and St Fidelis, the new parish officially comes into effect on 1 August 2026. Parishioners are invited to celebrate this historic milestone at the Emmaus Parish Inauguration Mass on 14 August at 7:00pm at St Fidelis Church, with Archbishop Comensoli as Principal Celebrant, followed by a festive buffet celebration in the St Fidelis School Hall.
